About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving products from concept to production. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical/electrical components and systems
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and quality
- Conduct testing, validation, and performance analysis
- Identify design improvements for cost, quality, and reliability
- Support product launch and production troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 2+ years of experience in product development or design engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in electric vehicle or automotive product development
- Knowledge of materials, prototyping, and testing methods
- Exposure to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and documentation skills
